For years, the conversation around sunlight has been pretty simple: get outside, but protect your skin. Then came vitamin D supplements, red light panels, light masks, lamps, and a growing category of devices promising some version of the benefits we normally associate with natural light.
Solius Pro is taking a different approach.
That distinction matters. This is not another red light panel.
Solius CEO Chris Kiple explained to me that the company is targeting a completely different part of the light spectrum. Red light has become popular throughout the fitness and recovery industry, but UVB is the wavelength responsible for triggering vitamin D production in the skin.
“Everybody responds to the sun differently,” Kiple told me. “We all need different amounts to get the clinical benefits.”
