Maternal Vitamin D Supplementation and Offspring Risk of Atopic Eczema

A recent placebo-controlled, double-blind, randomized trial concluded that maternal supplementation with 1000 IU vitamin D daily from 14 weeks gestation to delivery led to a reduced incidence of atopic eczema for babies in their first year of life.
