Vitamin D Status and Risk of Mortality in Osteoarthritis Patients

A study recently published in Nutrients found that osteoarthritis patients with sufficient vitamin D levels had a lower risk of all-cause and cardiovascular disease mortality compared to patients with insufficient or deficient levels. This study suggests a beneficial role of vitamin D on a long-term basis.
