Vitamin D and Uterine Fibroid Growth, Incidence, and Loss

A recently published study found an association between low vitamin D level and increased risk of fibroid tumor occurrence and growth. Vitamin D levels over 20 ng/mL were associated with a 9.7% reduction in fibroid growth and vitamin D levels over 30 ng/mL were associated with an approximate 22% reduction in fibroid occurrence.
