Vitamin D Deficiency Increases Mortality Risk, New Study Finds

A new study using Mendelian randomization analyses found a causal relationship between vitamin D deficiency and mortality. This study found the risk for all-cause mortality was 36% higher for participants with 25-(OH)D 25 nmol/L compared with 50 nmol/L.
