Study Finds That Vitamin D Eases Lung Fibrosis by Blocking RAS Pathway

A new study found that treatment with vitamin D lessened lung scarring and reduced levels of fibrotic markers of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) by suppressing chronic activation of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS).
